Founded by Alain Moses in 1994, our wine wine merchant house, TWINS, has continued to grow with the successive arrival of his sons, Sébastien and Anthony Moses — the “twins”. In the footsteps of their father, they have ensured true continuity in both vision and leadership.

We are an independent, passionate and honest wine merchant company.
For over 30 years, the Moses family has nurtured strong, long-term relationships — giving us deep insight into the 70 international markets we serve and the 500 partner estates we represent. These trusted alliances grow stronger over time.

At TWINS, decision-making is streamlined. Fully family-owned and operated, we answer only to ourselves — allowing us to remain agile, responsive, and resilient in the face of an ever-evolving wine market.
It is this freedom of spirit that drives us to do what we do best: serve our clients with transparency, integrity and excellence. We’ve always been pioneers — and we continue to push boundaries. Staying one step ahead in wine distribution is our guiding principle.

Our teams

The TWINS family has around forty employees, a quarter of whom are based in the United States and Asia. Experienced and endowed with complementary skills, our employees are a resource in their own right and complete this picture of passionate people. This international base enables us to position ourselves as close as possible to markets, maintain solid commercial relationships and keep abreast of both long-term trends and the latest innovations.

With a presence in Europe, the US and Asia, we never sleep. At TWINS, someone will always pick up the phone.

I like undertaking and implementing projects quickly. I am a very impatient man especially when I am hungry at 10AM.
I do not like inertia, incompetence and lack of flexibility.

Alain Moses founded TWINS. As a former wine broker, Alain Moses is an expert in the workings of the Bordeaux marketplace. Committed to the quality of human relations in the wine trade, he has placed the concepts of trust and innovation at the heart of his company from the outset.

Sébastien Moses joins his father at the helm of TWINS. He is the first of the twin brothers to join the family business trading in Bordeaux Grands Crus.

2009

After solid experience in the marketing of fine Bordeaux wines, Anthony Moses has now joined the family adventure. The twins are reunited to continue writing the history of TWINS.

2010

To get closer to the markets, Sébastien and Anthony Moses opened an office in New York with the arrival of Guillaume. This was TWINS' first office outside Bordeaux. This marked the beginning of the development of the company in the US, with the aim of raising the profile of Bordeaux's Grands Crus even higher.

2013

Opening of an office in Hong Kong and arrival of Airey. With this new facility, TWINS strengthens its distribution of the great wines of Bordeaux and the world to Asian buyers of fine wines.

2019

TWINS acquires a stake in Maison Garros, a wine merchant specialising in events in France. In this way, the TWINS trading house continues to expand, this time in its core market, France.

2020

TWINS is changing its visual identity to reflect the values that guide the company in the marketing of fine wines: conviviality, performance, innovation, trust, flexibility, humility and modernity.

2021

TWINS is innovating with an enhanced communications strategy, serving the wine estates of Bordeaux, France and the rest of the world. With the Face to Face and Twinsetters videos, TWINS gives a voice to those who produce the world's greatest wines and those who analyse the sector's major trends.

2023

TWINS takes part in trade shows under its own colours. The Bordeaux wine merchant now has its own booth to showcase the great wines of its partners to international buyers.

2024

TWINS celebrates its thirtieth anniversary and continues to grow with an experienced team of around forty employees.

Since 2019, Maison Garros has joined Twins. Maison Garros is a family-run wine merchant, exclusively dedicated to events in France, which allows the group to work all around the world.
